- INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCEMENT The purpose of this announcement is to schedule an Industry Day for an initiative to establish a contractual relationship with the private sector to provide medical walk-in clinical services. This industry day will provide information on the next steps for the procurement process. The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is conducting market research to determine if a medical walk - in clinical service is feasible and useful to Veterans and their families. This Industry Day session will be held on October 27th, 2015 at the VA Central Office, Room C-7, 810 Vermont Ave NW, Washington, DC 20420. It is recommend that participants arrive no later than 8:30AM to check-in. The meeting is planned to begin at 9:00am and we anticipate finishing by 3:00pm. For planning purposes, attendance at Industry Day will be limited to no more than two Subject Matter Experts per entity, and pre-registration will be required - if you plan to attend, you must submit a written request to the Contract Specialist via email at Jabbar.Pringle@va.gov - by 5pm (EST) on October 14th, 2015. In your RSVP, please include company name, individuals first and last names, citizenship status, position/title, background & completed RFI questionnaire. Due to space limitations, attendance will be on a first come first served basis (up to 120 individuals). A valid driver's license or other Government issued form of identification will be needed for the check-in process. Interested parties that are not able to participate in the industry day face to face may be provided with a VTC number or a teleconference number. However, companies are still required to respond to the Request for Information and register, as if they were attending the face to face event. Attendance at this Industry Day is not mandatory in order to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP), if this RFI develops into and RFP. DISCLAIMER: The government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this Industry Day or to otherwise pay for information received in conjunction with this event; however the information gathered at this event may be used to inform VA's future needs. This Industry Day is being conducted solely to gather information for planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received that is marked "proprietary" will be handled accordingly. Material provided will not be returned nor will receipt be confirmed. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this Industry day are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Again, responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this Industry Day.
