Description
SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - OCTOBER 5, 2015 In conjunction with the recent Sources Sought posting and release of the Enterprise Training Services Contract (ETSC) DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS), the Government will host one-on-one sessions to allow industry to convey company information and to discuss questions, comments and recommendations regarding the ETSC requirements. This event window will be held during the weeks of 19-23 and 26-30 October, 2015, Eastern Standard Time, at the Tech Point II Building located at 3051 Technology Parkway, Orlando, FL 32826-3256 (Also known as the Air Force Agency for Modeling and Simulation (AFAMS)). The Government requests that only those parties seriously considering competing as a prime contractor reply to establish a date/time slot for this event. Requests will be scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis. The following sample represents the daily schedule for this event. Monday, October 19, 2015 SLOT 1 - 0900-0945 SLOT 2 - 1000-1045 SLOT 3 - 1100-1145 LUNCH - 1145-1300 SLOT 4 - 1300-1345 SLOT 5 - 1400-1445 SLOT 6 - 1500-1545 Interested parties shall submit their requests via email to the Government POC identified below no later than 14 October 2014. Requests attempted by telephone will not be accepted. Requests must clearly identify the following: 1. Name of the company/companies attending; 2. Primary and alternate dates/times desired; 3. Names of all individuals planning to attend, along with their official business titles; 4. Contact information of the company employee(s) responsible for coordinating the event. 5. Specify whether the session will be face-to-face or via teleconference. The Government cannot guarantee that every party will receive its desired primary/alternate time slots but every effort will be made to accommodate requests. Unfortunately, due to the accelerated timeframe of this event and the limited resources available, if a party must cancel its session, the Government will be unable to reschedule unless there are unfilled date/time slots available. Sessions will not exceed forty-five minutes in length. If teaming arrangements have been made and the team wishes to consolidate its one-on-one sessions, they may do so but will not be allowed more than the forty-five minute time period. Due to this time constraint, it is recommended that each party formulate its questions/comments/recommendations in advance and provide an electronic copy to the Government point of contact (POC) no later than seventy-two hours prior to their designated time slot. The Government cannot guarantee that it will be capable of providing a response to any and all of the provided questions/comments/recommendations prior to the discussion. The Government recommends interested parties participate face-to-face; however, we understand the geographical limitations that may impede some parties from attending in person. Accordingly, the Government will allow parties to conduct sessions via teleconference. The Government will provide a call-in number as needed to accommodate scheduled teleconferences. In addition, all attendees are requested to adhere to the following ETSC One-on-One Rules of Engagement: 1. Attendees must arrive in person no later than five minutes prior to their allotted time and must wait at the main entrance to be escorted by a Government representative into the building. If participating via teleconference, callers must connect by the allotted start time using the provided call-in number. No additional time will be afforded to those parties unable to arrive or call on time. 2. Please limit the number of attendees to no more than four individuals, this includes those parties wishing to attend as a team with other industry partners. Callers are expected to adhere to this limitation as well. 3. Do not expect the Government to validate, or provide recommended solutions to its requirements. 4. All information provided by the Government is based on the best information available and is subject to modification and is in no way binding on the Government. 5. Attendees must be US Citizens or permanent resident aliens. Government Point of Contact Matt Sanders Contract Specialist Army Contracting Command - Orlando Matthew.b.sanders22.civ@mail.mil
