Description
Wave Generator Range of Motion F2152 Standard Guide for In-Situ Burning of Spilled Oil Cylinder Design Burn Pan Pictures Burn Pan Drawings Hyrdaulics Cut Sheets Wave Generator Statement Of Work The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Research and Development Center (RDC) has a requirement a system to run the pre-existing wave generator that consists of a paddle and a hydraulic cylinder at the Joint Marine Test Facility on Little Sand Island in Mobile, AL.. The requirement is to design, build, and install the equipment needed to drive the existing hydraulic cylinder and paddle to create waves that meet an American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard F2152. This procurement is being set aside for Small Business. It is anticipated that award will be made on initial offers and that the solicitation will result in a single award firm-fixed price purchase order. The resultant period of performance will be 15 calendar days from award. Award will be made on a Low Cost Technically Acceptable basis, with a technical proposal required consisting of two examples of Past Performance. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of proposals meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards of the non cost factor (Past Performance). The North American Industry Classification System Code is 333995 and the size standard is 500 employees. All responsible offerors may submit an offer, which the Coast Guard will consider. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. Offerors may obtain information on registration in the SAM at https://www.sam.gov. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available at Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) at www.fbo.gov by 20 October 2015. To find notifications at FedBizOpps, offerors should select Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Research and Development Center, New London, CT. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation may be accessed electronically only via the FedBizOpss website (http://www.fbo.gov). Offerors are responsible for routinely checking the FedBizOpps website for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. Proposals will be due fifteen days after the solicitation is issued.
