- The proposed contract is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within ten days after date of publication of this notice of intent. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Titusville Honing LLC is the service vendor, who can provide machining services for the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center. The applicable North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Cide is 541990. All responses my be emailed to Debra Beale at debra.beale@navy.mil and reference number N4215816RC60037 no later than 1:00 PM on 10/29/2015.
