This is a presolicitation notice synopsizing the upcoming release of a solicitation-NO RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS IS REQUIRED. Veterans Health Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4 will be posting a solicitation on this website for the provision of temporary lodging services for Veterans attending the VISOR training courses at the Lebanon VA Medical Center (VAMC), Lebanon, PA. The persons being lodged will be Veterans (and their caregivers) who are attending a 9-day Visual Impairment Services Outpatient Rehabilitation (VISOR) Program at the Lebanon VAMC. The VISOR training courses are normally scheduled every other month throughout the year and each class can have up to a maximum of 6 Veteran attendees. Key requirements will be that the lodging facility be located within a 15-minute drive time from the Lebanon VAMC, as estimated by MapQuest or Google Maps, and that the lodging facility can provide ADA-accessible accommodations for the Veterans. All Veterans enrolled in the same VISOR training course must be lodged within the same lodging facility. This acquisition will be procured using FAR Part 13 procedures via full & open competition. The applicable NAICS code is 721110, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels. The intended contract type will be a 5-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA).
