Description
The U.S. General Services Administration, Great Lakes Region, is issuing a Sources Sought Announcement to determine the interest, availability, and capability of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, 8(a), HUBZone, and Small Business concerns as described below for the Social Security Administration Model Field Office project taking place at the Harold Washington Social Security Center, 600 W. Madison Street, Chicago, IL. This project will include a new entry vestibule, walks, storm drainage and landscaping, interior build-out of walls, ceilings, flooring, openings, MEP systems (mechanical, lighting, power, plumbing), fire suppression, new communications/data and security systems, new technologies and new furnishings. The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220. The estimated construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The full extent of the work will be described in the solicitation when it is posted. No other information will be available before the solicitation is posted. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, 8(a), HUBZone, or Small Businesses with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. All interested parties should submit a capabilities package to include business classification (i.e. SDVOSB, HUBZone, etc..), bonding capacity, as well as examples of three projects completed within the last five years that included the work specified above that will be required under this project and that had a total project cost in the same range estimated for this project. Provide a customer point of contact for each project listed. Electronic versions of your capabilities statement shall be submitted VIA E-MAIL ONLY TO: patricia.dalinis@gsa.gov. Responses are due by Wednesday, October 21st, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. (Central Time). NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market survey or return the data provided. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list, nor is it a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a solicitation.
