Description

SPECIAL NOTICE: Solicitation VA248-15-R-1322 was protested under GAO file number B-412053 on 9/8/15. The solicitation originally closed on 9/9/15. However, after a careful review of the protest grounds and the procurement file, the Agency elected to take corrective action in order to amend the solicitation. These changes to the solicitation will better reflect the Agency's requirement while facilitating maximum competition among potential offerors. An urgent and compelling interim bridge contract to the incumbent was subsequently awarded by the Agency to allow for uninterrupted and continued critical veteran care while implementing the corrective actions necessary to further full and open competition. As a result, the necessary changes have been made to solicitation VA248-15-R-1322, which is hereby extended to now close on 10/30/14 at 1300 by amendment A00003. All interested offerors are requested submit/re-submit their best and final offers on or before the aforementioned date and time. The revised solicitation document will be attached to amendment number A00003.
