- Description
- The requirement is being issued as UNRESTRICTED under RFP number W912P8-15-R-0045 and is being procured as a firm fixed price contract under FAR part 12, Aquisition of Commercial Items and FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS code is 336611 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. A single firm-fixed contract will be made to the responsible and responsive offeror having the loweset price. Proposals may be submitted in hard copy or electronically. Regardless of method of delivery, it is the offerors' responsibility to ensure the receipt of proposal and acknowledgement of all amendments by time and date stated within the solicitation. Contractors shall complete the schedule included in the 1449, including FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items Alt I. All proposals should include the following minimum information: company name, address, CAGE code, DUNS number, and taxpayer I.D. number, payment terms, and/or discount terms, point of contact, phone number, fax number, and email address. The requirement is for the services of a contract to furnish all management, supervision, labor, subcontracting, services of manufacturer's representatives and all facilities, utilities, shore power, equipment, tools, lubricants, fuel, materials and articals (excluding Government furnished property) required to fully execute the Mandatory and Contracting Officer authorized Optional work items as outlined in the specifications. The bid schedule includes, but is not limited to the following items: drydocking, gas freeing, and gas free certificate, ultrasonic testing, remewal of hull plating, structurals, and rubrail (optional), welding (optional), clearing and painting tanks, hull exterior deck exterior, deck fittings, superstructure and interior painting, anode repairs (optional), repairs to sea chests, valves and strainers, and repairs to the port stern hull.
