- ******Update: 13 October 2015: Special Notice****** This notice is to inform interested contractors of the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (I-MILES) Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System (VTESS) Laser Pairing Analysis Site Visit to be held from 1300 - 1500 EST on 21 OCT 2015 at the Townes Institute Science & Technology Experimentation Facility (TISTEF) at Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island, FL 32953. There will be a TISTEF caravan departing from the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) Badging Office, located at SR 405 Merritt Island, Florida, at 1230 EST on 21 OCT 2015. All contractors participating shall arrive at the KSC Badging Office in sufficient time to receive their badge and prepare for departure no later than 1230 EST on 21 OCT 2015. Contractors shall submit their request to the Contract Specialist Marnita Harris and Project Director Kyle Platt by e-mail at usarmy.orlando.peo-stri.list.imilesvtess@mail.mil no later than 1200 on 19 OCT 2015. Contractors are required to have badges to enter the facility at the TISTEF. Please provide the following information for each person on the Contractors team attending the walkthrough: a. Full Name. b. Social Security Number. c. Date of Birth. d. Place of Birth. e. Current employer. f. US Citizen? Yes/No. g. Naturalization Number (Non-US citizen only). h. Passport Numbers (Non-US citizen only). NOTE: If anyone was born outside the United States and is not a US Citizen they will need to be escorted onto KSC grounds (from the fence to the testing range). The escort can be any US Citizen that has a KSC badge whether or not the badge is temporary or long-term and may be another member of the Offerors team.
