- Description
- CDMaST Industry Day Slides Request Form DARPA Form 60 DARPA Form 104 INDUSTRY DAY CONFERENCE DARPA will host an Industry Day Conference in support of the Cross Domain Maritime Surveillance and Targeting (CDMaST) program on November 16, 2015 at the DARPA Conference Center, 675 N. Randolph Street, Arlington, VA 22203. Check-in begins at 7:15AM and the event will end at 4:00PM. The purpose of this conference is to provide information on the CDMaST program; promote additional discussion on this topic; address questions from potential proposers; and provide a forum for potential proposers to discuss teaming opportunities. PROGRAM OBJECTIVE AND DESCRIPTION: The objective of the CDMaST program is to demonstrate that a maritime system of systems (SoS) approach can provide increased military effectiveness, cost leverage (i.e., the cost of the opponent to counter relative to the cost of the US to deploy), and adaptability necessary to maintain US maritime superiority in contested maritime environments. The CDMaST program will develop SoS architectures for wide area, cross-domain (under, on and over the sea) surveillance and targeting of adversary ships and submarines in order to achieve maritime dominance in contested environments. REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Participants must register NLT close of business (5:00 pm EDT) November 9, 2015 by sending an email with the names and titles of attendees to: DARPA-BAA-16-01@darpa.mil. The email should include the name of attendees, company name, and contact phone number. Due to space limitations of the conference facility, attendance will be limited to the first 135 registrants, and no more than 3 representatives per organization. The Industry Day will be split into an unclassified session from 8:00AM – 12:00PM, and a SECRET session from 1:15PM – 3:45PM. Though compilation of the architecture solutions will be classified, the desire is to draw on a wide variety of inputs from unclassified sources, and performers without clearances are encouraged to attend and participate as team members. The key solicitation and program information will be conducted at the unclassified level. All attendees will be required to present government issued photo identification upon entry to the event. Additionally, all US Citizens are required to submit a DARPA Form 104 in order to attend this conference. Non-US citizens are required to submit a DARPA Form 60 “Foreign National Visit Request”. These forms are only required for the attendees who are attending the unclassified portion ONLY. The completed DARPA Form 104 or DARPA Form 60 must be emailed to DARPA-BAA-16-01@darpa.mil or faxed to 703-248-4936 no later than November 9, 2015. Both documents are available on the FedBizOpps website. The SECRET session will provide background information to offer context to support the solicitation and is open only to U.S. citizens possessing a US DoD SECRET clearance or higher. All attendees will be required to present government issued photo identification upon entry to the event. Attendees are required to pass security clearances via JPAS no later than November 9, 2015. If you are attending the SECRET session, you do NOT need to submit the DARPA Form 104 or DARPA Form 60. Please ONLY submit your clearance via JPAS. Notetaking will NOT be allowed during the classified session. The following information should be provided when you pass your clearance via JPAS: DARPA POC: Adam Boyd Purpose of Visit: CDMaST Industry Day SMO Code: DDAAUS4 There will be an opportunity to meet individually with Dr. Jim Galambos, the CDMaST Program Manager, on Tuesday, November 17 from 9:00AM – 12:00PM at DARPA. Classified discussions are allowed ONLY for the individuals who possess a U.S. DoD SECRET clearance or higher and who have passed their clearances via JPAS for the classified session. To request a one-on-one meeting with Dr. Galambos, please send a separate email to DARPA-BAA-16-01@darpa.mil with “One-on-One Meeting” in the subject line and include the name of attendees, company name, and contact phone number.
