Description

The National Cemetery Administration (NCA) hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Anderson Engineering of Minnesota, LLC a Service Disabled Veterans-Owned Small Business, to incorporate a Limited Use/Limited Application LU/LA elevator to complete 100% design drawings that are currently 95% complete for the Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery Lodge Renovation. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541490. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes, but merely notification of the Government's intent to award this contract to Anderson Engineering of Minnesota, LLC. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government and would not create substantial duplication of cost or unacceptable delays that would hinder the mission objective of 100% design drawings that are currently at 95% completion. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 business days, in accordance with FAR 36.6 an award will be issued without any additional notices being posted. Pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302.5, Authorized or required by statute for the above-cited 100% design completion.
