THIS IS A SOURCE SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The Murfreesboro Network Contracting Office (NCO 9), 1639 Medical Center Pkwy, Suite 400, Murfreesboro, TN is performing market research to determine if there are a sufficient number of qualified Small Business (SB) firms in Kentucky to set aside a single selling Agreement. The Government will use responses to this notice to make an appropriate Selling Agreement decision. The requirement is for a contractor to buy and remove Government Pallets located at the VA Medical Center (Cooper Drive Division) 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY. 40502 and the VA Medical Center (Leestown Division) 2250 Leestown Rd., Lexington, KY. 40511. Services will include but not limited to the pick-up, loading and removal of all pallets of various sizes, woods and quality. Area is to be kept clean and free from debris, such as broken pallet pieces. Pick-ups are on an as needed basis. The contractor shall remove all pallets within three (3) calendar days of telephone notification between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, with information describing their interest, capabilities, geographic location and indicate which small business category for which they qualify to Contract Specialist, Melvin Cole at Melvin.cole@va.gov, no later than 1:00 p.m. (EST), October 16, 2015. Solicitation number VA249-16-N-0012 - Pallet Selling Agreement has been assigned and should be referenced on all correspondence regarding this announcement. The NAICS Code 423930 is applicable to this acquisition; the size standard is 100 employees. The anticipated period of performance will be a five (5) year agreement. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov database prior to award of a contract.
