Description

SPECIAL NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1(only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Olympus America Inc., 3500 Corporate Parkway, Center Valley, PA 18034 for 'Full Service' maintenance and repair services and parts for the Olympus endoscopes leased by the Medical Center's endoscopy clinic. Olympus America Inc. is the sole provider of OEM Certified service personnel and parts for this specialized equipment. NAICS 811219 applies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 2:00 pm EST/EDT on October 20, 2015. No telephone inquiries or emails with questions will be accepted. Responses may be mailed to the John D.
