Description

Exception to Fair Opportunity Justification This sole source task order provides continued support for the United States Cyber Command. The purpose of this Task Order (TO) is to provide Technical Assurance (TA) Information Technology (IT) and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) support to the USCYBERCOM. Technical Assurance is defined as the basis for confidence that CNA capabilities will meet its technical objectives including the tools and techniques used to develop, analyze, and implement a capability. USCYBERCOM, in coordination with key stakeholders (and in part through the use of this TO) will deter and defeat adversary attacks in cyberspace to defend U.S. national interests and ensure U.S. freedom of action in and through cyberspace, and deny the same to adversaries. The expiring contract ended on 09/30/15. The Government awarded this 12-month sole source bridge TO to CACI, Inc to ensure continuity of services. This TO was justified and awarded on a sole-source basis to CACI pursuant to FAR Part 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B), only one source is capable of providing the services at the quality required because the supplies or services required are unique or highly specialized. The Exception to Fair Opportunity justifying this award was approved on August 31, 2015 and is attached with this notification.
