Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 11, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with GE MEDICAL SYSTEMS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES, INC. of Wauwatosa, WI for the service of maintenance and software updates to the GE MACLAB and CARDILAB equipment, NAICS 811219 applies; the small business size standard is $20.5 million. The Contractor shall provide al maintenance and software updates for the GE MACLAB and CARDILAB equipment located at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 for a period of the date of award for twelve (12) months with two (2) One (1) year options. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm on October 26, 2015. No telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. All responses must be mailed to VAAAHS, Attn: Thomas Auten, Contracting Officer, Network 11 Contracting Office, and PO Box 492, Ann Arbor, MI 48106.
