THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses who can provide the items/services identified below. No solicitation is being issued at this time. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The White River Junction VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC), 215 North Main Street, White River Junction, VT 05001 has a requirement for the following: Item: Deicing Road Salt with Delivery 1.The contractor shall provide 400 Tons of Deicing Salt With a moisture content of no more than 1% delivered to the building 43 as requested over the period of the Contract from 11/27/2015 through 11/26/2016 2. When Salt is delivered the driver shall go to building 43 and dump the product into the second bay from the right. The bay size is 13 feet 6 inches wide, and 12 feet 2 inches high. Vehicle shall be able to dump a 22 ton load at the door. After dumping the load of salt Contractor shall stop at building 10 and leave the invoice. The appropriate NAICS Code 212393 Email statements of capabilities to corey.labbe@va.gov outlining your company's capability and provide the business size status in accordance with the small business administration website (www.sba.gov) for the above referenced NAICS code. Your responses must be submitted by 12:00 pm (EST) on Monday Oct 19, 2015. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. This notice is to assist the VA in determining sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be issued at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
