Description

The purpose of this modification is to respond to Questions from vendors submitted by the question submission deadline. Questions and Answers (Solicitation VA249-16-Q-0019) Question: 1. "In section G, the solicitation states that all testing of repaired equipment must be complete within 4 hours of being notified by the facility. As stated, that requires the contractor be local. However, if the meaning of the statement should be within 4 hours after repair assuming the facility notifies the contractor when the machine is down, it allows for contractors to be from more than the local area." Answer: Once a piece of equipment is repaired, it must be tested within 4 hours. Question: 2. Does the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation under solicitation number VA24916Q0019 contain requirements similar to a current contract? If possible, please provide the current contract number. Or, is this a new requirement for the government? Answer: This is a new requirement. Please note: The time frame for submitting questions in regards to this solicitation has closed. The closing date and time was October 13, 2015 at 4:00PM CST - NO FURTHER QUESTIONS WILL BE ADDRESSED.
