- Please note that this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, Japan, requires a building maintenance service contractor to perform both scheduled and unscheduled work orders on U.S. Government owned and long term lease properties. The performance period of this contract is from the start date in the Notice to Proceed and continuing for 12 months, with four one-year options to renew. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The U.S. Government plans to issue the solicitation in mid-November 2015. This solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps (Federal Business Opportunities). Please see the solicitation for actual response due date. No paper copies will be mailed and no electronic proposals shall be accepted. Note: As required by U.S. Government's federal acquisition regulation (FAR provision 52.204-7, System for Award Management), prospective offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.
