- An award will be issued to facilitate the construction of two new high-resolution astronomical cameras that will be used in support of NASA exoplanet science. One camera will be located at the WIYN 3.5m telescope at Kitt Peak, Arizona and a second at Gemini North 8.1m telescope at Mauna Kea, Hawaii.NAICS is 333316, Photographic and Photocopying Equipment Manufacturing, The performance period for this requirement is antcipated to be November 15, 2015 through May 31, 2016. This notice of intent is being provided for infomration purposes only therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. Interested organizations may submit written capabilites and qualifications to perform the aforementioned effort to James.n.shumway@nasa.gov, no later than 3:00 PM October 22, 2015. Telephone inquires or responses will not be accepted. Information received from this announcement will be for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competative procurement. The determination to conduct a competative procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
