THE ATTACHED SPREADSHEET ARE NSN THAT ARE SOLE SOUCRED TO MARVIN ENGINEERING. PLEASE REVIEW THE SPREADSHEET TO DETERMINE ANY INTEREST IN MAKING THE PARTS ON THE ATTACHED SPREADSHEET. Solicitation Number: SPE4A6-15-X-0066 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: Various (FSCs 1440, 1430, 1420, 5975, 5995) The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation-Richmond is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as a means of conducting market research to determine if other companies are capable of manufacturing the items listed in the attached workbook. The current approved sole source of supply & part number is included in the Excel spreadsheet. This Sources Sought is for informational purposes only. This is not a a request for proposal. It does not constitute a solicitation and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this annoucment. No funds are available to pay for preparation of response to this Sources Sought Notice by October 23, 2015. This market analysis is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet DLA Aviation's requirement for cable assembly products, adapter support cover spacer cables, mounting under the following Federal Supply Classes: FSC 1420 - Other guided missiles parts FSC 1430 - Search, detection, navigation and nautical system instruments FSC 1440 - Other guided missiles launchers FSC 5975 - Current - carrying wiring device, machine shops FSC 5995 - Current - carrying wiring devices & wire assemblies, communication equipment INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate. Joint ventures or teaming arrangements are encouraged. All responses under this Sources Sought Notice must update the spreadsheet and send to the email address below. Please provide the POCs and location of manufacturer (City & State or Country if applicable). 2. Please provide your responses no later than Friday October 23, 2015 via email to Trina.VanStory@dla.mil or call. Questions relative to this Sources Sought should be addressed to Contracting Officer, Trina VanStory, (804) 279-3750. If your company desires to be reviewed and qualified as an "Approved Source" for any of the items in the Sources Sought Spreadsheet, request an application package for a SAR package. This contains all of the technical data needed to demonstrate that the prospective contractor can competently manufacture the product to the same level of quality, or better than the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The onus is on the contractor to document and demonstate their product is equal to, or better, than the currently approved item which DLA Aviation is procuring. If there is an open solicitation for a NSN which you want to submit a SAR, please submit the SAR directly to the buyer noted on the solicitation.
