This is a notice of intent of Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center (VA ACC) Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Services (P&LMS) and Network Contract Office (NCO) 10 to negotiate sole source with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. for supplying the Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center (VA ACC) Pathology & Laboratory Medicine Services (P&LMS) with: Item Information o0.8% SELECTOGEN 2 X 10 ML FY16 STANDING ORDER 2 VIALS PER SHIPMENT FOR TOTAL QUANTITY OF 26 VIALS o0.8% AFFIRMAGEN 2 X 10 ML FY16 STANDING ORDER 2 VIALS PER SHIPMENT FOR TOTAL QUANTITY OF 26 VIALS oALBA Q-CHECK SIMULATED WHOLE BLOOD CONTROLS FY15 STANDING ORDER 5 BOXES PER SHIPMENT FOR TOTAL QUANTITY OF 65 BOXES oCOOMBS CONTROL CELLS 1 X 10 ML FY16 STANDING ORDER 2 VIALS PER SHIPMENT FOR TOTAL QUANTITY OF 26 VIALS oSELECTOGEN 3% SCREEN CELLS 2 X 10 ML FY16 STANDING ORDER 2 SETS PER SHIPMENT FOR TOTAL QUANTITY OF 26 SETS oCOMPLEMENT CONTROL DROPPER BOTTLE, 1 X 3 ML; FY16 STANDING ORDER 2 VIALS PER SHIPMENT These items will be used in conjunction with the BioVue system and are for use at the Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center (VA ACC). The above reagents will be utilized in the Transfusion Services. These reagents are needed to complete patient testing and will allow our veterans to receive blood transfusions when needed. The Government believes that only one business can satisfy the agency requirements and intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b) - access to proprietary information. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by Thursday October 22, 2015 at 3PM EST. Such capabilities information will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
