Description

This is a Synopsis announcement in accordance with FAR 5.202 in anticipation of a future contract award. The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement for Software Licensing, Support, Maintenance, and Consulting for the mission critical NAVSEA COST and MAT application. Micro Focus is the developer of the COBOL software that COST and MAT run on, and the only source for license agreements of this nature. This Volume License Agreement provides maximum flexibility to maintain currency on all hardware across the NAVSEA enterprise, extends maintenance and support for the current implementation of COST and MAT during the transition to the latest support version of the software, and provides consulting services from the vendor to assist with the planning of the update to the latest supported version, which will be required prior to moving the COST and MAT systems to a consolidated data center. Due to the nature of this requirement, the Government does not anticipate any subcontracting opportunities.
