- Bill of Materials Request for Quote This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of commercial products/services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items; and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items; as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested in accordance with the written solicitation attached. The Solicitation number is: OPM3216T0003 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFQ). This solicitation document incorporates all mandatory FAR and OPM commercial item provisions and clauses in accordance with all FAR circulars issued as of the date of this synopsis. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside and the North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541519. This solicitation is for the procurement of Akamai Maintenance and Support Services. Full requirements can be found in the attached RFQ. Contractor's submitting proposal in response to this solicitation must be authorized resellers of Akamai. OPM intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price contract to the offeror that represents the best value to the government. The anticipated delivery date is expected to be within (30) days from date of award. Offerors are invited to submit their quotation to the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Contracting Group in response to this notice by 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), Tuesday October 20, 2015. Quotes submitted in response to this notice shall include the solicitation number in the subject line and be signed, dated and submitted via email to Jessica.Guadalupe@opm.gov.
