- This pre-solicitation notice is for a Yellow Ribbon Event for the 372nd Military Police Company, 200th Military Police Command in Cumberland, MD from 5-8 November 2015. This requirement includes 180 lodging rooms, 500 hot breakfast buffet meals, 400 hot lunch meals, 16 Meeting Rooms, and 2 AV Equipment. This is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. For a proposal submitted by an offeror that is not a hotel, the offeror must describe in its proposal the technical approach for the offeror's services as a prime contractor and must also include a copy of all insurance (s) (standard business, liability, extraordinary insurances) in order to submit a complete technical proposal for evaluation purposes. (Again, this is not a solicitation for Event Planning Services. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party hotel shall be deemed technically unacceptable). The award will be a fixed price contract with a period of performance from 5-8 November 2015. This acquisition is 100% total small business set-aside. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 721110, size standard of $30.0 Million. Prospective Contractors must be verified on System for Award Management (SAM) website. The solicitation will be posted on or about 19 October 2015 via Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Acquisition to Business Website located at https://acquisition.army.mil. The due date will be stated in the solicitation estimated at 29 October 2015 12PM East Coast Time. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. It is the responsibility of the offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. To be eligible for award, prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Internet site, www.sam.gov, under the appropriate small business category and NAICS should be registered on ORCA Internet Site.
