THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 4 intends to award a firm-fixed, sole source contract in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.102 and FAR Subpart 203. It will be an option contract, base year plus four (4) optional years. This requirement is for support and maintenance of the Hitachi H7000 microscope. The government intends to make an award to Hitachi High Technologies America, 1375 N. 28th Avenue, P.O. Box 612208, Dallas, TX.
