Description

Synopsis: Network Contracting Office 2 (NCO 2) plans to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) to provide snow removal, shoveling and salting/de-icing of identified roads, parking lots and sidewalks for the Stratton Albany VA Medical Center. The solicitation number for this RPQ is VA528-15-Q-0426. The solicitation will be issued on or about October 15, 2015, with an anticipated due date of October 26, 2015. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The applicable NAICS code is 561730, with a size standard of $7.5 million. The Government anticipates award of one Firm-Fixed Price contract. The VA will not pay any costs incurred in preparation and submission of proposals. The Period of Performance of the Base Year begins on or about November 1, 2015 through March 31, 2016 with one (1) option period. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. All questions shall be submitted in writing to richard.williams18@va.gov no later than October 22, 2015 at 2:00 PM EST.
