Description
The Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Bogota has a requirement for logistics support services for the Security Cooperation Office (SCO) Colombia formerly known as (USMILGP-CO). The requirement is for the contractor to supply all resources necessary to accomplish the required services to include but not limited to program management, supply support activities/warehouse operations, property book and unit supply support, transport and customs support, vehicle maintenance and repair parts support, facilities administration to include contracting, design, maintenance and support for the SCO and its supported agencies throughout the country of Colombia. Projected start of performance of the resulting contract is 1 March 2016 for six (6) months with two (2) priced three-month options periods after the base periof of performance. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This is an unrestricted procurement action. The prospective contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be considered for award. Prospective contractors should be registered with the Government of Colombia (GOC), permitted to operate within the country and must abide by GOC labor laws. The solicitation will be posted on FedBizOpps.gov and the US Embassy-Bogota contracting website on or about 26 October 2015. It is the responsibility of the prospective offeror to monitor the website for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to the solicitation.
