- The proposed sole source contract action is for continued contractor logistics support (CLS) services for Government-owned C-26 aircraft beginning 01 July 2016 and ending 31 December 2017. The contract action will bridge the anticipated capabilities gap from the current C-26 CLS contract (W58RGZ-09-C-0207) and a new, competitive, overarching fixed wing Transport Aircraft CLS contract in Fiscal Year 2018. The services for this action will be procured from M7 Aerospace, LLC, 108523 NE Entrance Road, San Antonio, TX 78216-6001 (CAGE 3DAW1), who is the incumbent contractor, pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), quote mark Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. quote mark It is anticipated that any source other than M7 would not be viable for this one-time bridge effort due to the upfront capital investment required for facilities, ground support equipment, and an adequate inventory of aircraft parts and material.
