- MEDCOM, Western Regional Contracting Office, Tacoma, WA intends to issue a sole source award to Tornier, Inc. in the estimated amount of: $100,000.00 to purchase various surgical implant products that will be used in patient specific surgeries, as determined by the surgeon in the Department of Orthopedics/Operating Room located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), Fort Bliss, TX. Prior to surgery, the surgeon shall make the determination that these products or other branded products will best meet the individual patients' medical needs/requirements. All products must be FDA Approved. This notice is not a request for proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent Ms. Denise Miller, denise.s.miller.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
