FOR ANY INFORMATION CONTACT: Dimitra Bairaktaris, 732-790-2295 This is a market survey to locate sources who can supply Network Operations Center Equipment, Installation and Configuration Services and Training for the Iraq Defense Network. less than DESC greater than This is a SOURCES SOUGHT MARKET SURVEY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This market survey does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a request for sealed bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay respondents for any information that they submit in response to this Sources Sought request. The United States Army CECOM LCMC is conducting this sources sought market survey to determine price and availability (P&A) from potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement as follows. The Iraqi Ministry of Defense (MoD) currently maintains digital IP Telephony communications through the Iraq Defense Network (IDN) The scope of work is for performance in Iraq for supplying Network Operations Center Equipment, Installation and Configuration Services and Training for the IDN. The current infrastructure of the IDN is aging and falling out of life cycle and not fulfilling the current operational needs. In order to maintain effective digital communications during a period of expansion and growth on the IDN, this requirement seeks to upgrade the infrastructure of the IDN NOC to current industry standards to be able to provide secure email services (Exchange), Host Based Security Systems (HBSS), file storage servers, current multi-tiered routers and core switches, and the associated equipment to properly integrate this equipment. All equipment should come with the appropriate level of licenses and users. The overall configuration needs to support a primary and secondary systems as a backup should the primary ever fail. For purposes of pricing, the Rough order of Magnitude (ROM) should reflect the cost of performing the scope in Iraq, to include life support and security. Responses do not require transportation and shipping quoted. Government will pay for transportation and shipping. Responses must include price, availability, lead times and the schedule stated in months after contract award for each identified task. All responses must be provided on the enclosed spreadsheet. The spreadsheet also contains detailed equipment specifications. This scope of work requires the vendor to supply the following equipment and services: Router Core Switch Access Switch Rack Mount Server Security System Control System PC-1616 High Definition 40 quote mark Screen BlueCoat Security Appliance Licenses Bundle IP Phone PowerEdge Storage Arrays Workstation Spares Network Operations Center Installation Materials Air Conditioner Warranty Maintenance Extended Warranty In-Country Site Surveys In-Country Installation and Configuration Services Remote Technical Support In-Country or Regional Training P&A responses should not be bundled with a bottom-line figure. ROM values must be broken down into equipment or services. Equipment ROMs must be based on the equipment listed in the enclosed spreadsheet. All P&A should be itemized according to the categories in the P&A spreadsheet. When submitting the ROM response, the vendor's company name must be added to the P&A spreadsheet file name - ie MyCompanyinc NOC Upgrade.xlsx Vendor should provide a short one paragraph summary of relevant company capabilities.
