Description
Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a sole source order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-15-G-0026 to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), Melbourne, FL, for supplies and services required to return aircraft (a/c) A-97 (currently being preserved) and associated parts to Cairo under the Egyptian Air Force (EAF) E-2C Tactical Program. The period of performance for the supplies/services to be furnished hereunder shall be approximately 3 months from date of contract award. This modification includes, but is not limited to the packaging and shipment of aircraft A-97 and approximately 3200 parts to the Freight Forwarder for shipment to Cairo, Egypt. The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302. NGSC is the only source with the requisite knowledge, experience and technical expertise to provide the required supplies and services. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within thirty (30) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Persons interested in subcontracting opportunities may contact Brian Heaps, Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation at 321-726-7526 or via email at Brian.Heaps@ngc.com.
