Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION: Minimimum Essential Characteristics - High Speed Video Camera System One high speed video camera system is required. This camera must be able to work independently as a single entity when required, or have a single access point to work as a system when used in conjunction with existing high speed camera. The camera must be fully compatible with the existing camera system, an IDT NXT7-S2 camera and hub system. The new camera must be able to provide power, trigger, and synchronization to the existing camera systems or function fully indepently. Minimum specifications are below. 1.One (1) high speed video camera is required, capable of: a.10-bit monochrome pixel depth. b.At least 1920 x 1080 maximum resolution. c.Sample at least 5,300 frames per second at maximum resolution. d.At least 8 GB of onboard memory storage. e.Store at least 11,132 frames at maximum image resolution. f.At least 1 microsecond minimum exposure time. g.At least 6000 ISO Mono sensitivity. h.Operating on 14 to 48 VDC power. i.Operating between -40F and 120F. j.Using CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor) sensor with following characteristics: i.At least 13.9 x 7.8 mm sensor size. ii.At least 7.24 x 7.24 micron pixel size. iii.At least 1 inch sensor format. iv.At least 10 bit mono pixel depth. k.At least the following inputs: i.Trigger that allows TTL and Switch/circular buffer 1.Trigger control should be on the camera itself to operate independently and built into the software to trigger remotely or with the system. ii.Phase-lock TTL synchronization. iii.IRIG input time synchronization. l.At least the following outputs: i.Frame synchronization to sync with other cameras or other data acquisition systems. ii.HDMI Out (30 frames per second). m.The following physical characteristics: i.No larger than 3.5 x 3.5 x 8.6 inches (without lens). ii.No heavier than 7.5 lbs (without lens). iii.Can sustain at least a 100 G shock or 40G vibration (all axes). iv.Must have on-camera battery lasting a minimum of 1 hour at full operation. v.Have a standard c-mount for lens attachment. n.The following communication: i.Ethernet 100/1000 Base T communication. ii.Must be able to accept a cable with 19-pin Lemo connector. o.Trigger cable must be included, 5 foot length. p.All required cables must be included. 2.One (1) upgrade of item 1 above to the following capabilities (only upgraded capabilities identified, all other capabilities remain: a.Sample at least 12,300 frames per second at maximum resolution. b.Increase memory to 16 Gb. c.Store at least 22,407 frames at maximum image resolution. 3.One (1) upgrade of item 1 above to replace GPS synchronization with a digital IRIG system. 4.Two (2) LED lights for integrated and synchronous use with items 1 and/or 2. The light must have the following characteristics: a.28 degree lens. b.120 watt power consumption in continuous mode. c.200 watt power consumption in strobe mode. d.Maximum pulse rate of 100KHz. e.40,000 hours estimated lifetime. f.Capable of operating in both continuous or pulse (strobe) modes. g.Includes power supply. h.Physical characteristics: i.4.15 x 3.62 x 3.67 inches. ii.Weigh less than 1.7 lbs. iii.3 mounting holes (bottom and two sides) with ¼-20 threads. 5.Software must be included to operate and control the cameras. a.Must be compatible with Windows XP 32/64 bit, or newer Windows OS. b.One interface must be able to control a single or multiple cameras. c.Software must be able to adjust all camera settings (gains, frame rate, exposure, resolution, etc.). d.Must be able to set synchronization and triggers among cameras (master/slave assignments) and/or other data acquisition. e.Post motion capture tools should be available at a minimum: i.Playback ii.Color Map/Scaling iii.Image Adjustments at a minimum - filter, sharpen, gamma, brightness, contrast, saturation iv.Orientation v.Batch processing vi.Tracking f.Post motion capture saving options should include: i.Folder location ii.Naming iii.Metadata (camera settings) iv.File types at a minimum - TIF, BMP, JPG, PNG, AVI, MPG, TP2, MOV, MRF, MCF v.Compression options g.Must have plug-ins to readily export data to Labview or Matlab.
