Description
LITENING POD IDIQ OFP Update J&A AFLCMC/WWMPA, Hill AFB, UT intends to award an IDIQ contract with a 5 year ordering period to support the Combat Air Force (CAF) LITENING Targeting Pod (TGP) to support integration with the F-16 Pre-Block 30/32 (SCU's) and Post-Block 40/42/50/52 (M-Series). The contractor shall prepare and deliver software and firmware updates to the LITENING Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCIs) and possible hardware needed to integrate performance features and capabilities in F-16 OFP SCU and M series updates. The effective date of the ordering period is anticipated to be 1 July 2015. The TGP is controlled and managed by Northrop Grumman in regards to OFP/Hardware updates and repair and sustainment of the LITENING TGP. The Government currently owns no data rights or source code for the LITENING TGP. The proposed contract action is to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. The Government will notify parties of the outcome of any proposal submitted in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested vendors who may wish to seek subcontracting opportunities should contact the above named company directly.
