Description

U-28 Fact Sheet PWS: Air Force Special Operations Command U-28A Commercial Flight Simulator Training RFI - FA0021-16-R-0004 Description (See PWS): The Director, Air Force Special Operations Command/A3 is asking industry for information to assist the Government in assessing the viability of obtaining contractor-owned, contractor-operated flight simulator training for U-28A pilots and combat systems officers (CSO). This simulator training will support aircraft qualification (basic and mission), refresher, continuation and advanced level training tasks using Distributed Mission Operations (DMO). This training will be conducted in the Hurlburt Field FL and Cannon AFB, NM local areas. General Contractor Work (See PWS) : The simulator(s) will provide training for pilots and CSOs independently (simultaneously) as well as integrated depending on the training profile scheduled. All simulator systems must be able to use and process existing AFSOC databases (GFE) which are optimized for the VITAL (currently VITAL 1100) and/or VRSG image generator(s ).
