Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the General Services Administration. The General Service Administration is exploring options for Contractor Performance of Food Service/Concessions at the Jackson Federal Building Jackson Federal Building Central Business District, 915 2nd Avenue Seattle, WA 98174 The requirement is for one location under one requirement. The Contractor shall provide the management, administrative, supervision, labor, supplies and equipment (except as otherwise provided), and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and provide healthy meal and snack options for breakfast and lunch to the building tenants and building visitors. The Contractor will be responsible for all food preparation, food service, and equipment and concessions area cleaning. GSA is responsible for providing space, stationary equipment, refrigeration equipment as well as other large items, to include utilities such as electricity, gas, and water. Vendor will be responsible for replacement or repair of any equipment misused in the performance of this contract. Vendor is responsible for providing all smallware. Any vendor anticipating participating in the future solicitation needs to be aware of the Service Contract Act and Wage Determinations that affect wages for employees. Service Contract Act, and Wage Determination information can be found at both Department of Labor, and within Federal Acquisition Regulations at 52.222-43 -- Fair Labor Standards Ac t and Servic e Contrac t Labor Standards -- Price Adjustment (Multiple Year and Option Contracts). Any vendor awarded the contract at the time of solicitation and award would be responsible for all local, state or federal food service requirements and laws pertaining to providing safe, healthy food. Contractor would be responsible for ensuring healthy food options in alignment with the Federal Governments Health and Sustainability Guidelines for Federal Concessions as much as practicable. All employees employed to work under this contract would need to pass a criminal back ground check, including, but not limited to a questionnaire and fingerprints. No alterations will be made to current space to accommodate new contractor. All contractors who plan on participating in the solicitation and award of this contract MUST have an active DUNS number and be registered in the System Award Management data base. The GSA Northwest/Arctic Region 10 is seeking the following information: 1. Potential Respondents shall describe how they would promote their business within a Federal Building to entice customers in an environment of employees who have flexibility of alternate work schedules and alternate work locations. 2. Past performance. Provide a synopsis of experience with projects providing food service experience 3. Marketing. Provide a 1 paragraph description of your marketing approach with consideration to servicing the maximum possible clientele each day, i.e. daily specials, promotions, etc. This announcement is for MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. Any information provided will not be used for purposes of award. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the General Services Administration will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided. The response date for this market research is November 30, 2015, with potential solicitation issuance in January, 2016. No collect calls will be accepted.
