- The Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC) Albany, GA Contracts Department (S1940) intends to solicit and award a firm fixed price contract on a sole-source basis to High Tech Insulators of Livonia, MI for the non-commercial service described below. The high temperature resistant coating process used, is proprietary and a specific re-insulation which is applied to component parts on the Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV). No modified, substitute or alternate types of insulation are acceptable (see attached Justification and Approval). The Government does not possess sufficient data, or the rights to same data, for this required insulation type or process. Any source capable of providing this service to the exact, specific specifications as described in the provided drawings may contact the person(s) above to be considered for a future award. (3) Manufacturer “ High Tech Insulators (Cage Code 075J4) (4) Destination information- Marine Corp Logistics Command, Albany GA. 31704-0325 (5) Award Procedures “ The Government will solicit and award a Firm-Fixed-Price contract for a non-commercial service with an estimated total under the simplified acquisition threshold. The anticipated award date is no later than 19 Nov 2015.
