- IMS-BIO LOE - Tech Specifics IMS_BIO acronyms RFI_SOW This Request for Information (RFI) is limited to 8(a) businesses and is for planning purposes only and is not a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bid (IFB) or an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any services. Responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government reserves the right to determine how it should proceed as a result of this notice. Furthermore, those who respond to this RFI should not anticipate feedback with regard to its submission. The Government will not pay any cost incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the responding party's expense. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Failure to submit a response to this RFI will not preclude the vendor from participating in any future solicitation that may result from this requirement. The Department of State, is seeking information regarding the attached Statement of Work. Please carefully review the Statement of Work, Level of Effort Excel Spreadsheet, Acronym List and respond according to the directions below. The contemplated NAICS code for this requirement is 541 - Professional, administrative and Technical Services/541511 - Custom Computer Programming Service and may include a portion of 541512 - Computer systems Design Services. Interested parties shall furnish the following minimum information: 1. DESCRIPTION OF INFORMATION REQUESTED: a) Name of company; b) POC, Telephone Number, Fax Number, Address, and e-mail address; c) A capabilities statement as defined below d) Company's business size. DUNS and CAGE Code e) Current GSA or GWAC contracts that are applicable to NAICS code 541511 f) Socio-economic Classification g) Facility Security Level Clearance h) Responses shall be in MS word document or PDF, be limited to 15 pages 8.5 inch X 11 inch, using at least a 12 point font with one inch margins and with the pages numbered. What should not be included in your response: • Do not submit formal proposals or offers. • Do not submit requests to be considered for award or to be notified of a future solicitation. • Do not submit requests to be added to a mailing or distribution list. • Do not submit questions or comments not related to this RFI. • Do not respond via telephone. 2. HOW TO SUBMIT A RESPONSE: Submit the required information no later than Friday, October 23, 2015, 12:00 Noon, in a word document or PDF to Kenneth Waddell, Contract Specialist at Waddellkr@state.gov. Statement of Capabilities All interested parties shall submit a Capabilities Package that demonstrates company capabilities, indicating examples of experience and existing qualifications/certifications to demonstrate the company ability to meet and fulfill the requirements of the SOW and estimated Level of Effort.
