Description

Special Notice Announcement - Sole Source Purchase of Janitorial and other related Services to Ability One for VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS); VA Mare Island and VA Fairfield Outpatient Clinic The VANCHCS plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to obtain janitorial services for Mare Island and Fairfield Outpatient Clinics located at Vallejo, California and Travis AFB, California based on the following: The Javits ·Wagner.O'Day Act (41 United States Code (U.S.C.) 46-48c) requires government agencies to purchase supplies or services from items contained on a procurement list maintained by the Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled. This program is branded as the AbilityOne Program. The VA National Acquisition Center has been granted direct order authority (FAR 8.705-2) of products/services on the Procurement List (PL) through Basic Ordering Agreements (FAR 19.804-5). The Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, supplies, transportation, equipment and reports necessary to provide janitorial services in a responsible, cost efficient, environmentally friendly manner at the VA Mare Island Outpatient and the VA Fairfield Outpatient Clinics. The NAICS code 561720 applies with a size standard of $18.0 million. The contract will be a firm fixed price type and is expected to include a base year beginning 01 Mar 2016 to 30 Apr 2017, with four option year.
