- Solicitation Number: HSCG85-16-R-31001 Notice Type: Sources Sought SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: DOCKSIDE REPAIRS OF CGC JAMES (WMSL 754) The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified sources to perform dockside repairs for the CGC JAMES (WMSL 754), a 418 foot high endurance cutter home ported in North Charleston, SC. A firm-fixed price contract is anticipated for award. The information obtained from this notice is for market research only and will be used to determine method of procurement including whether to set-aside the procurement for small business or other set-aside programs. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 336611 and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Cutter's home moorage in North Charleston, SC TENTATIVE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 02 May 2016 through 16 September 2016 (137 calendar days) Sampling of work to be performed: WORK ITEM 1: Fixed CO2, FM 200 and Ansul R-102 Systems Annual Certification, Perform WORK ITEM 2: Water Mist System, Annual Inspection and Biennial Discharge Test, Perform WORK ITEM 3: Flight Deck Net, Weight Testing WORK ITEM 4: Tenting, Provide WORK ITEM 5: Decks Exterior, Preserve WORK ITEM 6: Temporary Services, Dockside, Home Pier WORK ITEM 7: Overhead Light Fixture, Modify WORK ITEM 8: Folding Boom Cranes, Install WORK ITEM 9: Side Boat Davit, Install WORK ITEM 10: Tanks (Water Mist), Preserve "Partial" WORK ITEM 11: AFT Boat Adjustable Cradle and Tie Down, Relocate Interested parties must submit the following: (a) Company name, business size status (i.e., small, large, 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, etc.) (b) Capability to perform work similar to the above work items. (c) Past performance information to demonstrate successful completion as a prime contractor of projects similar in scope and complexity to the work items above.
