Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Health Readiness Contracting Office (HRCO) on behalf of MEDCOM is soliciting comments from industry on their commercial insight, performance based solutions, best practices, and potential issues involved with Talent Management/Career Development services. This is a RFI only. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this notice is for the government to obtain market research information and gain an understanding of the commercial marketplace concerning Talent Management/Career Development services. This RFI neither constitutes a request for proposal, nor does it restrict HRCO to an ultimate acquisition approach. Proposals will not be accepted and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. The North American Industry Classification System Code for this service will be: 541612-Human Resources Consulting Services (Small Business Size Standard-$15 M). The government desires that respondents offer their insight, experience, capabilities, and recommendations and provide responses to the following questions: 1. How is Talent Management/Career Development conducted in private sector? What type of Talent Management/Career Development services (i.e., consultation, training, software products, etc.) do you provide to private sector? 2. Are senior leaders managed differently or more intensely? 3. How is a potential leader identified versus a manager? 4. Are there internship programs or pauses in one's career to get self-developed as a leader? When is this determination made in someone's career? 5. Are there different tracks or levels for Talent Management/Career Development? 6. What happens if someone ‘falls off' the Talent Management track? 7. Indicate whether your company has had government contracts and if so who were they provided to and what type of services were provided. 8. Does your company have a General Services Administration or Federal Supply contract? If so, provide the contract number and expiration date. 9. What is your customary pricing structure for services/products provided? 10. What makes your company a market leader for this type of service? 11. Are there any innovative approaches used by your company for these types of services? If so, please explain. 12. Indicate if you would be interested in attending an Industry Day or having a one-on-one meeting with government personnel. Responses should include a capability brief that outlines your capabilities to perform Talent Management/Career Development services to the private and government sector. Please provide any other catalogs or other published product literature on these services. Include with your capability brief, your company name, mailing address, telephone number, point of contact, small business size standard, government cage code and DUNS number (if available). Proprietary/Competition sensitive information (appropriately marked) will be protected from disclosure to the greatest extent practible; however, it is preferred that respondents do not provide proprietary or otherwise restricted responses.
