Description

Synopsis: Network Contracting Office 3 (NCO 3) plans to issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for a prospective contractor to provide all adequate equipment and personnel staffing to effectively maintain a snow and ice abatement plan for the campus for the upcoming winter, including all roadways, egress points from buildings, sidewalks and surface parking at the Northport VA Medical Center in Northport, NY. The solicitation number for the upcoming RFQ is VA243-16-Q-0040. The solicitation will be issued on or about October 26, 2015, with an anticipated due date of November 3, 2015. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The applicable NAICS code is 561790, with a size standard of $7.5 million. The Government anticipates award of one Firm-Fixed Price contract. The VA will not pay any costs incurred in preparation and submission of proposals. The Performance Period of the award begins on or about November 4, 2015 through March 31, 2016; there are no option periods with this award. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. All questions to this notice shall be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer, Brad Mills, at william.mills4@va.gov no later than October 23, 2015 at 12:00 PM EST.
