Request for Information: VA118-16-N-0864 Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center, Eatontown, New Jersey 07724 Subject: Laboratory System Reengineering Project (LSRP) Remote Hosting of Cerner Millennium PathNet Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) This is a request for information (RFI) only. Do not submit a proposal. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) is soliciting for information related to the attached Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Interested parties are invited to review the attached PWS and to make comments or suggestions. The goal of this RFI is to provide a procurement framework that may be used for a subsequent acquisition. Nothing in this document should be considered binding or in any way obligate VA to perform. VA welcomes comments on any part of this document. It is requested that all companies interested in participating in this effort please note their interest and provide indication of their respective capabilities to perform the effort described in the attached Draft PWS. It is also requested that the vendor respond to the following questions: a.Provide a brief summary of your technical approach to meet the requirements specified in the Draft PWS. b.Has the Draft PWS provided sufficient detail to describe the technical and functional requirements that encompass the desired solution? YesNo (if No, answer Number c) c.If "NO", please provide your technical and functional comments/recommendations on elements of the Draft PWS that may contribute to a more accurate proposal submission and efficient, cost effective solution. Page limit for the response is 10 pages. Responses are due via email to the below POCs by 1:00 PM EST, October 28, 2015 Contract Specialist: Eleanor.Slocum@va.gov Contracting Officer: Iris.Farrell@va.gov THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)/Sources Sought in accordance with FAR 15.201(e) to conduct market research for information and planning purposes only. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue a RFP in the future. This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, VA is not at this time, seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the responders to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
