- United States Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service Commodity Procurement Staff DATE: October 21, 2015 USDA POLLOCK AND TUNA PURCHASE PROGRAMS ANNOUNCED: The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) plans to purchase pollock, salmon, and tuna products for National School Lunch Program and other Federal food nutrition assistance programs. Offers will be solicited in the following forms: Material # Material Description 110601 FISH AK PLCK FRZ BULK CTN-49.5 LBS 100195 CANNED TUNA-66.5 OZ 100194 CANNED TUNA-12.0 OZ 110563 CANNED PINK SALMON 14.75 OZ 110580 KOSHER CANNED PINK SALMON 14.75 OZ All offers must be submitted electronically through the Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) website at http://www.usda.gov/wps/portal/usda/usdahome?navid=WBSCM. Offers submitted by any means other than WBSCM will be considered nonresponsive. Solicitations will be issued in the near future for deliveries between March 2016 and August 2016. Offers to sell these products must be received not later than the date specified on the Solicitation. Offerors are urged to carefully read all applicable terms and conditions of the AMS Master Solicitation for Commodity Procurements dated April 2015 and Amendment No. 1 dated June 2015; Pollock Specification dated April 2015; Salmon Specification dated July 2011, Amendment No. 1 dated March 2012, Amendment No. 2 dated April 2014, and Amendment No. 3 April 2015, and Tuna Specification dated October 2015; and the Vendor Qualification Requirements for Prospective Contractors Selling Commodities to USDA dated October 2014.
