Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 20, VA Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS), located at 1660 S Columbian Way, Seattle, WA 98108, and all subsequent facilities associated with Puget Sound, in accordance with FAR 13.501, intends to solicit from a single source. Building Control Solutions, Inc. (BCS) has sole proprietary rights for servicing the Andover Continuum Security System, in Washington. The NAICS Code is 561621 and the size standard is $20.5 million. The statutory authority for restricting competition under Simplified Acquisition Procedures, or Single Sourcing, is 41 U.S.C. 253(c), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the responding company can provide servicing for the Andover Continuum Security System, in Washington. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 pm (PST) on October, 25, 2015. All responses must be e-mailed to michael.kuchyak@va.gov.
