Description
The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK has a requirement provide all labor and materials to construct Project # 635-CSI-102, Remodel Cath Labs, as described in drawings and specifications at the Oklahoma VA Medical Center. The scope includes the complete renovation of the existing Cath Lab suite (approximately 3,000 square feet) on the 1st floor and site preparation for the replacements of the Cath Lab equipment. NAICS code is 236220 is applicable to this solicitation. The small business size standard is $33.5M. The construction cost range for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000,.00. This procurement action is being set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns pursuant to 38 U.S.C 8127 (d). Award is restricted 100% for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business to be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: www.ccr.gov; and www.vets100.vets.dol.gov. Those desiring to receive an award from this solicitation also must be registered at www.vetbiz.gov Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award. You must register as "Interested Vendor" at the Fedbizopps website for solicitation. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in www.Fedbizopps.gov; "To Receive Notification" for amendments. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the Fedbizopps website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation from Fedbizopps and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation. This procurement will be issued as a 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) through Invitation for Bid (IFB) procedures under FAR 14 and other FAR Parts and Subparts as applicable. The Oklahoma City VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK, has a requirement to renovate the existing Cath Lab Suite which encompasses approximately 3,000 square feet on the 1st Floor and includes site preparation for the replacement of the Cath Lab equipment. The renovations will also include replacements of walls, ceilings, flooring, interior finishes, as well as the installation of new utility systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. The tentative date for issuing the Invitation for Bid (IFB) is on or around November 4, 2015, with the bid opening (the date bids should be submitted by) approximately 30 calendar days later on or around December 7, 2015 (the IFB will state the exact time/date for bid opening). The anticipated contract award date is approximately 30 calendar days or less after the Bid Opening. The Contract Performance Period is 210 calendar days after issuance of the Notice To Proceed. Location of the work is on the Oklahoma City VA Campus, Oklahoma City, OK. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, expertise, administration, supervision transportation and anything else necessary to perform all work as described in project Scope of Work, Drawings, and Specifications. NAICS Code 236220 is applicable to this IFB and the Small Business Size Standard is $36.5M. The Construction Cost Range for this project (Magnitude of Construction) is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Interested bidders are asked to first read over the IFB and all of its associated attachments/documents in their entirety prior to forwarding any questions to the Contracting Officer. A cut-off time/date for receipt of questions will be established and listed in the IFB as well as a time/date for the scheduled Site Visit. Only one site visit will be conducted and no requests for additional site visits or make-up site visits will be granted. The IFB will be posted and can be downloaded (without charge) from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website (https://www.fbo.gov/). Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the FBO website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the IFB (and associated documents/attachments) from the FBO website and for acknowledging all amendments to the IFB.
