- The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and disposal required to reconfigure GSK in Johnson Hall to create separate office/work area with access to existing exterior entrance to relocate CW resources from the Sail Loft. Work includes, but is not limited to: Removal of existing electrical receptacles, phone and data outlets, and the removal of the existing railing system on exterior ramp; Remove, salvage, reconfigure, reinstall one bay of storage racks and provide addition storage racks; Provide mezzanine with access stair in new CW resources area; Relocate and add sprinkler heads as required for revised are plan layout; Patch and repair all holes in existing block walls; Extend existing domestic hot and cold piping and sanitary drain piping into CW area for washer connection; Provide new electrical wiring, conduit, receptacles, LED lighting, split system HVAC fan coil unit with local control for new office/work area; Encapsulate lead based paint on walls, and prep and paint all walls with primer and 2 coats of interior latex paint; and perform related incidental work. The estimated cost range of this project is between $150,000 and $300,000. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. Solicitation packages will be available on 22 OCT 2015. The date set for receipt of bids is scheduled for 24 NOV 2015 at 2:00 pm. The applicable NAICS code is 236220, with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5 Million. The anticipated period of performance for this contract is 20 weeks from issuance of the Notice to Proceed, with 4 weeks on site. This acquisition is issued pursuant to FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding and is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns.
