- Solicitation Package October 22, 2015 - Posting of Solicitation Package The solicitation package for this procurement need was posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website today. Any questions related to this solicitation and the services/equipment required shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer by November 16, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time. If the questions and responses clarify the solicitation package they will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website as an amendment to the solicitation package. It is the offeror's responsibility to check the Federal Business Opportunities website for any or all amendments to this solicitation package up to the closing date. Completed offer packages shall be mailed or hand delivered to the Contracting Officer at the Utah Acquisition Support Center no later than November 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Faxed or e-mailed offers will not be accepted. If offerors are interested in arranging an appointment to view the aircraft related to this solicitation, please contact: Lynn Mitchell, Avionics Safety Inspector, R4 Phone: 801.620.1872 October 5, 2015-Posting of Presolicitation Notice Services provided under this contract will include, but are not limited to: Complete Avionics/Engine Instrumentation Refurbishment of plane N149Z Beechcraft B200C King Air (this aircraft is currently used for IR Fire detection and mapping). To ensure future FAA compliance, provide for additional safety and obtain upgraded engine indicating digital gauges, the plane will have all avionics and engine indicating systems removed to allow for installation of a Garmin G1000 system accompanied by a Becker Audio System. Several new items installed have upcoming FAA mandates such as ADS-B. The proposed contract will be implemented with an induction date of the plane by December 1, 2015 with a contract period of performance of 45 (forty-five) calendar days. This solicitation will be advertised under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code of 488190 (Other Support Activities for Air Transportation) with a Small Business Size Determination of $32.5 in average annual receipts over three years. It is anticipated that a full solicitation package for this project will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about October 20, 2015 and a response date for quotes of November 19, 2015. This project will be set aside for small business.
