Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for sustainment of the Switchblade loitering precision guided missile in support of a Joint Urgent Operational Needs Statement. The anticipated efforts will support the Switchblade, its components, and support equipment. The anticipated effort will provide services for the Switchblade system including logistics management capability, configuration management, product assurance support, system engineering, failure analysis, test evaluation material for repairs, Field Service Representative (FSR) support for OCONUS locations, Logistics Support, Fielding, training both OCONUS and CONUS, contractor repairs and equipment publications. The Government does not own a full Technical Data Package (TPD) for Switchblade. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 541712. It is contemplated that this award will be made on an Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAOC), Sole Source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit and award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract for these requirements. The anticipated contract period of performance is December 2015 through December 2016. This acquisition will require access to classified information.
