Description
SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AERIAL POWER LINE REPAIRS AND ELECTRICAL SUSTATION MONITORING The General Services Administration, Office of Acquisition is interested in gaining knowledge of all potential offerors capable of performing Aerial Power Line Repairs and Electrical Substation Monitoring for the GSA, Federal Research Center at the White Oak Campus located in Silver Springs, Maryland by means of a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract. Project Description Except where otherwise stated, the Contractor shall furnish all the maintenance, repair, emergency call and repairs to aerial power line, high voltage electrical equipment plus tree removal and limb trimming for campus. The contractor must have the ability to work on overhead/underground wires, substations, transformers, batteries, street lights, and related, equipment while energized on a routine and as needed basis. The contractor shall be responsible for monitoring of the two (2) VT (Virginia Transformer Corp) isolation transformers in the main substation CVG 114 and transformer number 365 and 300 area. When the local power company (PEPCO) requires an outage for their own maintenance purposes, the contract shall assist the local power company by removing equipment from services as needed for the campus at 10903 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Springs, Maryland The period of performance for this contract is a base period and four option years. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) Code for this project are 237130 and 561730 with corresponding size standards of $33.5 million and 7.0 million. All eligible small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, certified HUBZone small businesses, and women owned small business are encouraged to respond to this Sources Sought Notice. Offerors are reminded that "THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL." The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified small business sources capable of performing the described work. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice shall not constitute responses to solicitation, which is not currently available. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Sources Sought Notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response. Respondents will not be notified of the results of any government assessments. The information received will be utilized to assist in formulating the acquisition. No proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. Firms responding to this Sources Sought Notice are requested to provide GSA, Office of Acquisition with capability statements, limited to 10 pages, which need to include at a minimum: a. Company name and CAGE code b. Mailing address c. Point of contact (to include phone/fax and e-mail) d. Website, if applicable. e. Degree of experience providing same or similar services as outlined in the project description required information above. f. Provide any past or current Government contracts for same or similar services within the last three years. g.
