Description

Justification and Approval for B61-12 LEP Contract mod This action will be awarded as an incremental funding modification to the Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) task order awarded 9 July 2015 under Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) Defense Systems (DS) Technical Area Task (TAT) DT-15-1076. This modification provides for continuing systems engineering and technical assistance services for the B61-12 Life Extension Program (LEP) while the competitive source selection for these services is ongoing. The original J&A supporting this action was approved on 06 July 2015. The J&A was amended on 05 August 2015 to provide additional incremental funding through 30 September 2015 because the competitive source selection is still ongoing. This current J&A amendment extends the estimated period of performance of the B61 LEP gap services effort from 01 October 2015 through 28 February 2016, and incremental funding will be provided up to a total amount of $1,750,000 as necessary to maintain services until award of the competitive task order.
